What is Communication For?
Much communication seems to be about less an exchange of ideas & information & learning something than it does a person's desire to have his/her way of thinking and their very existence and a relevant entity accepted and validated. It's not important what is being talked about, whether it's right, wrong, or relevant, but more along the lines of: "Accept me, my way of thinking, who I am, that whatever I say is worth listening to, that I another human worthy of your attention.
